Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
PTSD Blog ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://ptsdblog.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
PTSD Blog is a static website. We do not require accounts, we do not run advertising, and we do not use third-party tracking scripts. The information we may receive is limited to:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We see this only in aggregate, if at all.
- Email you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to respond, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- We don't use advertising or social media tracking pixels.
- We don't set cookies for analytics or profiling.
- We never ask for health information, and we encourage you not to send it to us.
Links to other sites
Articles may link to external websites, including support services. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. We encourage you to review their policies.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you (usually none beyond correspondence), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at contact@ptsdblog.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we ever add analytics — we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
